I was incredibly honored to receive the 2025 MLK heritage award at the official Wisconsin state ceremony honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Junior at the Wisconsin State Capitol.
The award was presented to me by Wisconsin governor Tony Evers. Even better was the entire event celebrating Dr. King’s life; listening to the music and inspirational speeches.
